Stepping across the line

I realize there's a point in this business where you've gone too far. But how much is too far? Clearly you could chalk up your lack of finesse as "art" or "personal expression," but it wouldn't deny the fact that you passed the invisible boundary.

These two were done at least 1 1/2 -3 years ago... I forget which is which now. These were some of my first attempts at teaching myself Photoshop.

Overdone? Sure... But isn't it fun to break the rules?
